Estudiantes y docentes de sexto y d\u00e9cimo ciclo, paralelo A, de la carrera de Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica de la Universidad T\u00e9cnica \u201cLuis Vargas Torres\u201d de Esmeraldas (UTLVTE), realizaron el pasado fin de semana una minga de limpieza en el balneario de Las Palmas.<\/p>\n
El Ing. Santiago Quintero, director de la carrera de Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica, inform\u00f3 que el trabajo consisti\u00f3 en la recolecci\u00f3n de basura inorg\u00e1nica, tal es el caso de pl\u00e1sticos (botellas, tapas, sogas, colillas de cigarrillos y dem\u00e1s objetos) los cuales causan el da\u00f1o a la fauna del lugar, principalmente a las tortugas marinas, las cuales llegan a este lugar a colocar sus huevos.<\/p>\n
La minga que buscaba adem\u00e1s mejorar la imagen del principal balneario de la ciudad de Esmeraldas, cont\u00f3 con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la fundaci\u00f3n Mingas del Mar, representada por el Ing. Kevin Bruno Weibel.<\/p>\n
